Put On The Armor Of Vitamin D

Hello everybody!!!

It has been the first week of my 2nd transfer but also most transfers are actually 6 week, so it's technically been the end of my first transer depending on how you look at it, but enough of the confusion.

This week has been different. We said so long to Elder Long and our trio became a duo. I've got to admit the life of a missionary never hit me until one third of the companionship left so that was hard. When your the third trainee you kind of get left on the back burner, that's not to say my companions neglected me, but I just didn't do much of the heavy lifting. Now I'm driving because my trainer got his driving privileges taken away this transfer. And I'm responsible for taking us to all the places. I went from back seat to drivers figuratively and literally. So it has been a little stressful but I'm managing and I was blessed with a companion who understands being stressed.

Your probably wondering what's with the funny title, well it's a funny story. So we go bell ringing for the Salvation Army because our Mission President told us to and recently we meet this guy who just loves vitamin D. I think he talked to us for about 10 minutes about why vitamin D solves pretty much all your problems. He told us how much vitamin D we should take and the other vitamins we should take with it. Vitamin would ve stopped the pandemic stuff like that. At the end he said "instead of putting on the armor of God we can do it with Vitamin DI!!" and then he left. It was interesting. And I agree vitamin D is pretty good. I was already taking some because our Mission Nurse recommends it to everyone, but it doesn't solve all your problems.

Recently we got a referral from someone who was struggling financially and was looking for someone to help out everywhere. We said we'd talk to our ward and we did. Our ward accepted that idea and we're are going to plan out an idea to give her and her family a good Christmas and one of our ward members is planning our how to help her get meals and other supplies for her family and might help her find a good paying job. It's really cool to see how helpful the ward is.

This Christmas I'll invite you guys to look for someone who can help out this season even with all the holiday busyness and what nor. There's a lot of people out there who need your help in particular, not just anyone's, but your help. Because God puts you in the right places for the right reason. Someone you need to help out in anyway will be put into your life you just have to keep your eyes open. And often times you might not even realize how much you helped them.
