Transfer Buzz!!!
Transfers Happened this week, and I got a new companion. His name is Elder call. He's an optimistic elder and a hard worker, but knows how to have fun with the work. He's been out about two or three transfers ahead of me so we're both pretty new. Even though we have done a lot of contacting and visits we haven't really gotten too much progress with the work, but that's ok because I think the members have noticed our efforts and have helped out a lot lately.
We are still teaching Rosie, but I don't know how long we will be doing that. She likes talking to the missionaries, but we think she just likes talking to other Christians and has no interest in joining our church. Chinh I think is progressing. Our second lesson with him was fast paced and very quick, but I think this time he was really listening and wanting to lear, maybe, you never know with him.
I just want to say hard work is important. Not just because "it needs to be done", but because it actually helps a lot with your happiness. I think that is why heavenly fathers plan is so perfect is because it gives us that way of always having something to work on and progress. I thought I was happier laying around, but I really wasn't and that's really what I learned last transfer. Not to remain idle. And of course the work is important and we're saving souls and all of that.
Love you all,
Elder Penrod
