Happy Halloween, Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, And Happy New Year

I'm still not dead. The holiday has been crazy here in tacoma.


Halloween: We had a zone halloween party because Halloween was on our P-Day so we had district and just did a bunch of fun halloween stuff.


Transfers: We're a qaud now with our new companion Elder cuningham. He's a GOAT!


Thanksgiving: Our zone basically put together an entire food drive thing for another church on thanksgiving day. We had Music and gave people haircuts and stuff; it was fun.


Christmas: Where do I even begin with Christmas. Our mission president had us all go to a big christmas music concert in Seattle. The whole entire mission was there. We also had a mission wide christmas party that we all attended. There were talent shows and a bunch of other stuff.


New years: Not too much happened on New years, but our Zone did have a little new years eve party and that was pretty fun.


Transfers: I'm still in tech here in Chambers Bay with Elder Cunningham


My Comps: Elder Cunningham is the new tech Elder, he's awesome and he does a bunch cool stuff. He's really educated in film stuff so he's actually perfect for the job. Clawson and I do a bunch of missionary work and it's been fun to be his companion again. Elder Harding is going this transfer, but he's actually been one the more dilligent "dying" missionaries I've seen. Also all the sisters in this mission just love him.


Me: I'm doing pretty good actually.

ope that wraps up two tranfers for y'all. This next week I give everyone full permission 1 ester me about an email, missionaries included (if you are even reading this) because I want start doing these more often again.

Easter And Such

Hi Elder Penrod, I hope that you are doing well. I probably won't have much to talk about since we spoke to you on Sunday. How are you doing? How is your week going so far? How is your companion? How are your friends doing? We had our usual Easter Egg Hunt at Lisa's on Saturday. It was fun and they were able to convince Beth and Cameron to hunt for eggs with the promise of vending machine money . It was fun to see Rylen (Liam's boy) and Ethan hunt around for eggs. It sounds like Rylan is going to be a big brother in November. Josh Burger's wife is also expecting, they will be having a boy in September. So lots of new babies on the way. Yesterday and today the deck guy has been here at the house installing our deck. I am so excited to have it, I think it will look great! We just have to figure out how we are going to barricade the dog in until the fence can be attached to the backyard. Some Friends And Some Foes (But Not Really Because We Love Everyone)

The area has finally started to get some activity now. We've been keeping some lessons going with our friend and we have some good fellowship with that. She likes attending church and the ward activities so that's good. Saturday we got bashed. She was very nice though, but really did not believe in the Book of Mormon and told us it was of Satan. Right after that we visited a drunk lady who wanted a prayer, sounds familiar, but this time it wasn't too weird. She said we were awesome and what we do is good which was nice. Transfers are coming and I'll be getting a new companion so Elder Higbee will be leaving. I'll miss him actually he's been a pretty good companion even though he's a bit trunky.
